It seems like Julio and I have some supports in our relationship. Ben found out who spanishlover (Julio) and afroqueen (me) are. He is okay with us being together too. One thing I found out was that I’m a Leo and Julio’s a Pisces. When Julio and I first started seeing each other. Destiny told me that a fire sign like Leo and a water sign like Pisces make a lot of interesting results. She didn’t want to tell me if that was a good or bad thing. Be he promised to give me present the next day. Then he gave me a fresh rose! He’s so romantic; like those guys in high school drama Destiny loves to watch.

At lunch, Julio tells me about the gang situation for hi and his family back in Texas. This group called the Ramones (Hispanic) and the Black Daddies (African-American). Those gangs controlled the school practically. No one dared to stand up against them. Every day, they would walk the halls and everyone; teachers, principal, staff and students couldn’t—wouldn’t—say anything. This one teacher actually did stand up against the gangs at school. Everyone was afraid for him, there was a good chance he would get hurt. The teachers died in this tragic car accident. Apparently his brakes had stopped working, or were cut. I’m pretty sure it was the gangs that got him killed. There’s no way he could mysteriously die like that. Julio said that most other people at his school put two and two together, but no one dared to say anything. I wonder if this story means that he wants me to be careful…

For the next couple of days, Julio and I started to hang out outside of school. All we do is sit in Julio’s car and talk about things. I’ve seen a couple of suspicious cars pass by us. I think they’re the Devildogs and the Family planning. At school, Destiny told me about a dream she had of me drowning. From what she described, it sounds a lot like the dreams I’ve been having. I want to listen to Destiny, but I don’t want to throw away Julio’s and I’s relationship because of a dream. Still…
